Pipes under pressure / Antifire mains
TUBE-IN / SLIP-LINING / CLOSE-FIT
Tube-In: the renewal system for pressure pipes up to 30 Bar with full approval for use with potable water. The wall thickness is only 3 mm for use with diameters up to 300 mm. Rapidity of laying and inexpensiveness.
Slip-lining: method which allows new pipes to be inserted inside the damaged ones. The difference in the inside diameter of the mains pipes does not generally lead to a decrease in flow rate, since the smoother surfaces compensate for the reduction. The most common insertion system using high-density polyethylene is accomplished by pulling the new pipe into the existing one with a steel cable wound onto a winch.
Close-Fit: it is an insertion system which we carry out with the help of qualified partners. It involves inserting adherent pipes with measurements and volumes that do not exceed the diameter of the original pipe.
